In his twenties, Aaron delved into the world of venture capital, which exposed him to a striking truth: startup marketing was drowning in a sea of sameness. No matter the pitch deck, presentation, or advertising campaign, it was formulaic—less than ideal for an innovative startup. This realization would go on to become the genesis of Maximus Strategic Consulting.
Over the last fifteen years, Maximus Strategic Consulting has worked with dozens of early or development-stage companies across various sectors and numerous countries to help them stand out in their fund-raising efforts, expand their investor audience and grow their brand.
Aaron's experience as a founder and investor has given him a unique perspective on the challenges entrepreneurs face when growing their cap table and expanding their reach in the capital markets. He has developed a love for supporting like-minded entrepreneurs, whether that be through building novel and comprehensive marketing programs, discussions about their high-level ambitions, or refining their go-to-market strategy.
Aaron and his wife are the parents of two young energetic boys. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, he and his family now live in Calgary, Alberta, not far from Canada’s beautiful Rocky Mountains. Aaron enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his family and friends in his spare time.
